Your mission includes designing a long-term and sustainable plan for the development of Fritidsbanken across the entire municipal group. Responsibilities

• Be responsible for registration, preparation, and ongoing maintenance of lending equipment, including repairs, cleaning, and sharpening skates.
• Contribute to the reception and guidance of various target groups, such as individuals in labor market initiatives, daily activities, employment, interns, and summer workers.
• Create a welcoming and inspiring environment in the premises by keeping order, sorting equipment, cleaning, arranging furniture, and ensuring a positive presentation of the operation.
• Plan and implement activities and events, such as trial sessions and outreach activities that promote movement and participation.
• Participate in marketing and communication through various channels, as well as receive, guide, and coordinate study visits from schools, associations, organizations, and municipalities.

Your Skills and Experience

• A strong interest in, and preferably some background in, sports and outdoor activities.
• Experience in a service role with customer contact.
• Relevant post-secondary education or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Driver's license (B).
• Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience, ability, and knowledge to perform minor repairs of sports and leisure equipment.

You are social, flexible, and service-oriented – someone who can juggle many tasks at once while still keeping everything under control. You adapt quickly, read people well, and find it easy to build natural and good relationships.

The role requires high social competence, a warm demeanor, and an unpretentious attitude. You enjoy getting your hands dirty when needed, have a clear hands-on mentality, and can also structure and manage administrative tasks professionally.

Other Information

Working hours are primarily weekdays, but evening and weekend work may occur.

Transportation is part of the job, so a B driver's license is required.

A background check will be performed before employment.

The Culture and Leisure Office is responsible for Sollentuna Municipality's cultural and leisure facilities such as libraries, sports facilities, swimming pools, art halls, cultural schools, Edsberg Castle, and youth centers, among others. We also provide service and grants to associations within the municipality.
